HB Digital wanted to revolutionise the way future generations learn. The world is constantly evolving but the education industry has remained relatively stagnant. Restive Creatives took on their social media management and business strategy, as well as formulating and strengthening community management, to shape HB Digital into the effective platform that it is today.
Cross communication has become one of the greatest challenges affecting the education sector. The program is largely for students and teachers, but the purchasing decision lies with the school. Teachers are already incredibly busy with their schedules and many of them aren’t active on social media. This means there was minimal awareness for this type of online service.
We understood that we needed to influence the teachers to help the school make decisions in purchasing HB Digital’s program (CARS & STARS Online). We conducted extensive market research to gauge the amount of teachers using Instagram and we gained insight into a growing trend of teachers active on Instagram, in Australia. We implemented a funnel strategy and provided an amusing yet inspiring platform for teachers to follow. Direct messages were also sent to teachers asking them to provide us with responses to various topics which were featured on CSO’s social media platforms. We then followed up with a direct message to offer a 30-day free trial to those who submitted their responses.
Within less than 2 months, Restive Creatives signed up 30+ teachers and counting, from different schools all over Australia, for a 30-day free trial. Restive Creatives speculates these trials will roll over to subscriptions of over 300+ students per school. Some schools love it so much that they have signed on for continual yearly subscriptions. Within one month of a giveaway campaign, Restive Creatives was able to generate over 100 leads for CSO. We have helped create a social buzz amongst teachers and across other networks. Now, CSO has teachers trying to persuade their schools to implement the CARS & STARS Online program.
